Founding engineer at an AI SaaS startup: a smart 404 service that indexed customers’ content and used AI-powered search to turn dead links into relevant product suggestions. I architected the platform on Next.js and React Server Components, built an event-driven notification engine on Google Cloud Pub/Sub (Slack, Discord, email) and a role-based access control layer. A GraphQL service that ranks the next seven days in any town for skiing, surfing and sightseeing, with the reasons behind every score. Weather data is stored as snapshots and refreshed on a policy, concurrent requests share one upstream call, and an outage in one data source degrades only the activity that needs it.
